boat is 42 ft with a large nav station with forward facing chair. I am always hanging out there on the computer or ssb or just reading. the chair Jon has shown in a post below is along the lines of what I am looking for. I want it to swivel and be able to be easily removed from the base when necessary (servicing the area just aft of the seat). I have a 3 inch aluminum pole base (I think it's 3 inches?) which the chair would mount to. just looking for more comfort while at same time secure since when heeling on starboard tack I am tilting out to centerline of boat.
