Our train was cancelled today from Springfield, MA to Chicago. We're scheduled for the Lake Shore Limited tomorrow. That train name sounds ominous. Power was out here in my sister-in-law's neighborhood in North Pomfret, VT due to a dead tree falling. Rain but no very severe wind. No NYC bus tomorrow so will have to beg a ride to the train in Springfield.
