As Rich mentions the loads will be different than with a 130% genoa and of course you need to make sure you can set the leads properly. Once you have that all figured out the smaller jib will certainly tack easier but consider putting a track to make it self tacking if you really want to simplify upwind sailing. Obviously the smaller headsail will have less area which means less power in light winds. If you have a cruising spinnaker or code 0 then you should be fine. Off the wind or on a broad reach the smaller sail won't give you much drive.
If you do go with the 100% jib then I suggest you also budget for a cruising spinnaker with a snuffer to help you power through the light stuff or when sailing off the wind unless you have a big fuel tank.
