Island living is hard to explain to some...

its the nostalgia of youth, as in your story. the incredible wrath and kindness of mother nature, sometimes in the same day. when picking a place to live and set up camp, i looked back at where i was happiest, it's the sunnyups/sets, surfing, sailing, safe from 'city lights' and all that goes with that. our lil island goes from 10,000 +/- in the winter to a bunch (150,000+) on a holiday summer weekend.

France says that she'll have to drag me out of here when/if its time to go. she's right, as usual.
