Hey you pirates, long time no see! It has been a wild ride for the last 8 months for sure. My previous employer announced last April that our site was closing and 600 people were being laid off as of May 31st.......except me. As a member of management I was given 15 minutes to "gather what you can" and report to security to surrender my badge and keys. The severance package was ok but I lost everything in my computer and desk including passwords and contacts. I have been working my way through things and got things reset here although I have been enjoying reading the posts.

Had to be one of the best summers ever. I restored my son's 1997 Jeep Wrangler while he was away in the Navy. Sailed a couple of times a week at least. Finished the to-do list at our cabin AND the house, and generally relaxed. Now back at a new job, part time, making the same $$$ but with 52 three day weekends a year!

So, did you miss me???
