Is it drought in general or was it too little snowfall last winter?

It's funny to hear some folks praying for a really cold winter here in Maine with lots of snow. The snow is same as always, it's better for skiing and tourism. But hoping for cold is new, and it comes from the lobster industry.

They had a wacky year with warm water and lobsters moving in shore and shedding early due to the water temps. Too early for the consumer market so prices dove. We actually swam, comfortably, in Penobscot Bay a few times this summer(70+).
