() we face as a society is finding a way to prove him wrong. It hasn't happened yet and it doesn't look like it going to any time soon. I can't speak to the issue of random killing from a historical position but I'm sure it not a new phenomenon. Most likely it just better reported on. I hope. I would hate to think it's going to get any worse.
