I've had to compound (3x)39-foot hulls every year

Every time I tape the waterline it's about 240 feet of blue tape; 3M's stock price gets an up-tick. Compounding and waxing 240 linear feet of topsides annually is no picnic... and, it would look dull by August and looked like crap by September. That's why I decided it had to be painted. The gelcoat was a maintenance problem.

The paint job enhances the value of the boat and will allow me to enjoy it more. Plus I get back about 5 six-hour days every Spring. I'll probably recover the cost at resale.
