At least I think it is. It's still pretty new but I have some experience with it now(in construction on floors). It has some pluses over oil enamels. I think it is harder than one part oil enamels and it may give a little more which makes it a plus for wood as it expands, contracts. I may try it myself when I roll and tip my topsides this spring. I'm pleased with it as a one part deck paint so far, it seems remarkably tough.
