How do you like navigating with the Navionics App on the tablet?

() I have the Navionics app on my phone but I find it a little limited. Even though you can load waypoints and plot a course I haven't been able to get it to give range and bearing to the next waypoint. I can do it manually by selecting a waypoint and getting "distance from GPS" it does not automatically update.
