I think I may have put some of this in my profile but don't remember what so I'll start over.

A few years ago I decided to settle down in Belfast ME, a great little town. I've gotten married, sold the Crealock 37 and bought a great little Cape Dory 27 for local sailing. Having a grand time. My wife and I are into competitive rowing (Cornish Pilot Gigs) and we just competed in the 34th annual Snow Row in Hull MA. Our men's crew finished first and our women's crew, with me coxing and my wife rowing in the bow finished 3rd setting a new course record for best time by a women's crew.

A few weeks ago we chartered an old Pearson 40 out of Georgetown Exuma and sailed for 2 weeks visiting my of my old favorites: Ragged Islands, Salt Pond, Black Point. My wife had never done anything like that before and absolutely fell in in love with it. Except for all the problems (mostly expected annoyances to me) with the old boat. She thinks it would be much better in out own boat so tomorrow we're looking at a Pacific Seacraft 40 in New Bedford.
