I'm pretty active so it could have been anything. I've had pain for over a year and have tried to work through it but recently it's become bad; probably going from a tear to a full through tear due to some crazy activity. No time is good to get it repaired but they're telling me I run the risk of more damage if I keep up my current lifestyle.
Sitting on my butt over kayak season isn't going to be fun but I have a planned kayak adventure to Costa Rica in the fall. Getting it done now should have me in great shape for that trip.
