Looked at the specs on the two - the small is only 10# lighter than the big! And the price of the kits is basically the same.
Another one that is attractive to me is the PT11 nesting dingy. Assembly or disassembly can't be worse than getting an Avon Rib-Lite set up or stowed - plus you get a real boat for your efforts that you can row or sail.
