I don't know your engine, but isn't the sleeve a replaceable seal?

I would think it needs replacing each time an injector is removed, as it compresses the copper for a one-time seal. Most I'm familiar with have a copper ring at the collar but my Nissan diesel uses a copper washer that seals between the end of the injector and the bottom of the injector seat.

Did you try tightening the injector?
