A long handled wrench to get the torque to free the injector. As said by Tom and Steve, there is unually a copper crush washer under the injector. It needs to be replaced every time the injector is pulled. I don't know Volvo engines and do not understand your reference to a copper sleeve. Did you get this from a reliable source? The high pressures in a diesel engine could easily blow by an injector without a seal installed.
