Hardened rubber soles on boat shoes
I tried sanding them but it didn't do any good
I keep my racing shoes in a box or bag... maybe that helps.
I have the same problem and I'm pissed ... Sebago "Marine Grip" ...

yes it is uv, my point pointis that there is plenty of tread but it no longer is fit to use
