Going E from Corea, you can go inside Petit Manan - cross the bar at the RW bell and gong.
Further E, we went up into Harrington Bay. But there's decent anchorage N of Trafton Island.
The Great Wass/Head Harbor area is super. We anchored in Mud Hole (watch the rock), SW of Knight Isl, and in the Cow Yard at the N end of Head Harbor. If you decide to climb Man Isl, watch for the eagles - they're a bit territorial.
Past Roque is Little River/Cutler, which we liked and we wish we could have stayed longer.
Keep in mind that there's very little in way of available provisions once you get that far down E. We went into Jonesport for some stuff, and they told us the nearest coin laundry was back in Millbridge! We looked for water in Little River, and ended up filling our tank from a HR 54 (with an RO water maker). The extent of the amenities at the Corea Yachting Center should give you an idea what you're in for - very little to nonexistant. Last place with decent shopping is Bar Harbor - there the big grocery store will even give you a ride back to your boat if you ask (we were at the town dock).
But if you need something, ask a lobsterman. They're friendly and helpful in that part of the world - like us, you might even get invited to dinner! I asked in Cutler if there were any moorings available, and the lobsterman gave me the long stare, then said 'Use Harry's, his boat is still behind his barn'.
So - take water, take food, take fuel - & enjoy!
