They are a blast; no doubt about that. However, like any vessel they must be used respectfully and with responsibility. As a sailor I tend to think I'm highly respectful but get me out there doing full speed figure 8's on mine and I'm sure I'm scorned at by others.

I take solace in the fact that I generally spend hours windsurfing or sailing the tri after a few minutes on my sportbike on the water.
