Yep, that looks like what I was thinking about. With the drain tailpiece connected, that's probably enough to hold it in place fairly well. I was thinking of ways to make the drain not be a hinderance, but maybe a better approach is to make the drain the only hinderance. It would certainly be enough to keep my lightweight sink in place.
