What is a good idea is to tie up the drain hose
In Response To: I don't think a floating sink is such a good idea ()
so, if it should somehow disconnect from the sink tail, it can't fall down and become a siphon to fill your boat.
I worked at a builder where this was standard practice -- except they missed one. Glug!
