Per a good friend in Auckland, Dean and the NZ crew are getting a huge show of support ... Nice to see, and no surprise, they are great sporting folks down there. They are deeply skeptical of the changes Oracle made after calling for the postponement of Race 2, installing sensors that automatically give the optimum level of the foils ... allegedly with the help of Kiwi engineers and designers. Probably all within the rules, but hopefully the full story comes out. Accurate or not, they feel it wasn't a level playing field. The huge change in upwind speed is what changed the series.
