The big IF is that you already cook with propane. If you don't already have a convenient way to store the tank and T into your stove line to route the propane, then I'd look at your other options.
I've often been tempted to add built-in heating to my boat but we only use it May through October, and we find it adequate to close up the cabin, sleep with extra blankets and use a Coleman catalytic camp heater (with adequate ventilation) to take the chill off in the morning. I have an LP locker where I store the 1-lb LP cylinders, but if you don't it's easy to construct a storage tube out of schedule 40 PVC pipe and clamp it to an aft rail.
