In Response To: dark blue hulls ()

the Romans do" is how the saying goes. The only boats that don't have white hulls in South Florida are the ones that came form up North. When I was in New England waters, many boats had blue (and some black) hulls. But down here we make sure that the sun reflects off the hulls, so white is the overwhelmingly prevalent hull color here . Additionally, being in the water and therefore sun 365 days a year will dull that blue finish fast!
