We never felt comfortable in the Grenadines. Love the area but just had bad vibes on the people. That was back in 05 & 6.

There are some places that just seem wrong to be near. The St. Vincent area is one of them. Paria Peninsula of Venezuela was another as well as the mainland of Honduras. Attacks against vulnerable cruisers can take place anywhere, especially where rich out of town cruisers come in contact with the local poor.

No amount of goodwill helps as there are always some pissed off locals who look at cruisers as the rich out of town intruders. In many ways we are just that.
