It is less effort to do the glass repair than futz around fighting the 5200.

Removing a seacock - anybody have the magic trick?
Calling Dave Gibson - GOBI alert!
Dave, you have the next picture?
No, this was the award version for presentation.
LMAO!
You could try DeBond
This debonder works slowly. I've used heat and sharp stiff putty type knives.
Try some leverage...
I would not grind any glass.
First push the bolts out...
Bad advice - That ripping out might destroy the FRP laminate
In that case...
5200
5200,, terrible stuff.
Those sure look nicer than my powder coated aluminum.
Not that it helps you, but I have always used polysulfide
I like to use 3M 101.
NLA
Agree - no 3M 101
Fein multimaster or clone
I would try my Fein, if only it were here...
Crude but direct.

Yes of course! I have one and forgot...they have a scraper blade.
OK, got the screws out but its still stuck pretty tight...
can you try this?
I may do just that if I can find the right hardware.
What size is this seacock?
1 1/2 inch.
