Another thought while hanging on a shared mooring in Vero

There's a thought that I can't ever recall having on land but frequently comes to me on the water. I sit in the cockpit in the evening with a light breeze ruffling the water and a dark sky with dramatic, benign clouds just visible overhead. And I think about what an absolutely perfect planet we happen to live on. Of course I know this planet feels perfect because we evolved to take the best advantage of it. But why do I only feel this when on the water. Because we came from the water? Perhaps. What I do know is that if I want to truly appreciate what life can offer here, I need to be on the water.
