I was replacing my impeller and had one broken blade after only a few months of use. I also noticed the inside of my Speedseal cover was getting badly warn. So I was thinking of having it milled flat. I went to the site and see they have a new type of cover. They are calling it Speedsea Life ( http://www.speedseal.com/ )

I may just go with a new cover plate of the new type and was thinking that the "run dry" impeller would make the system MUCH better.
