2GM20F, so it's not as bad for me. I tend to remove the 2 bolts and spin the pump around on it's hoses to open it. I think the new unit will work OK for me. This is what my old cover looks like now.

When is Yanmar going to wake up like and mount the stuff like on the Beta?? Not that I plan to repower any time soon.
