RDF unit I had. I would get baring lines to AM radio stations. Not dedicated radio station, the kind I would listen to in a car as well as on the boat. That and a lighthouse flash would give me my position as accurate as needed.

I don't think I would like to go back, but I would never give up the experiences!!! It sure did give me a since of accomplishment.
