I don't think of it being very rural in that area, probably because I've spent most of my time in Newport when or on the coast in RI. You found yourself amongst some nasty neighbors, but the dump site, that's a crime.

I've spent most of my life living in rural areas in Vermont, so I know something about what you're saying. It's not all Currier and Ives out there.
