CT friend was coming home from URI one night in his VW beetle, rather low on gas. On a long downhill, he figured he'd save gas if he turned the engine off. Not thinking, he removed the key. At the next curve, he turned the wheel and heard a 'click' as the steering locked. Outcome wasn't good for the beetle! You think 'idiot' but this guy has a masters in Mechanical Engineering - does that make him a 'master idiot'?
