"This very unique project has been a lot of fun for the Offshore Spars team. To design a rig package with the reliability for a solo round the world trip but the competitiveness to break a record is a challenge we were up for. Dr. Stanley Paris attempts to break the around alone record set by Dodge Morgan of 150 days, 1 hour, and 6 minutes.
The spar chosen for the Stanley’s voyage is a a standard modulus carbon spar with full halyard locks, a carbon boom and reliability of Nitronic 50 rod rigging."
