… I've been insured with ACE for 10 years, my premium increase this upcoming renewal up 40% … that's NOT a typo … FORTY percent. No claims in 10 years. Agent says due to Sandy damage a year ago. I asked for another quote from the same agent, one from Pantaenius came in 30% lower than ACE. Same terms & conditions, although the Pantaenius policy does allow me to do a couple things I'd like that ACE will not. The first year's savings will be offset by a new out-of-water Survey cost, required by the insurer. After that is anyone's guess what will happen, but at least I'll have a recent survey should I continue to shop insurance.

I've not ever heard of these folks ? Anyone have them, anyone have a comment ?
