Two of us (you remember Gordon?) bought Ranger 29's who both had been part of the DIY haul group, and we both decided the 29's were too big to treat that way, although he had gotten the village rules rewritten to allow boats up to 29 feet to be stored at the seawall for the winter.

I have been wondering lately what has happened to Ted Hanks and Blue Parrot. He would be past 90 years old at this point, and I have not heard anything about him since about a year after he bought the boat. I have a friend who knew someone at the South Bristol boatyard where they kept the boat. I will have to see if he can find anything out.
