LOL-Thanks- I got the clear fir from our friend Riley over in Passcagoula
last year on my way back from the BEER Cruise. He had it saved for a special project and claimed Tehani's mast repair filled that criteria.
I think it'll be a better mast head as it's a slightly harder wood.
