This was originally installed in the boat when it was built in 1990. Honestly, I never checked the brand. As far as the pink antifreeze, yes I did the fresh water system with that however the hot water tank always gets bypassed when I winterize. Prior to flushing the system I disconnect the in/out pressure water hoses and connect them to each other with a short length of tubing. That way when the system gets flushed and winterized I'm not pumping 6 gallons of antifreeze into the hot water tank. I use the petcock to drain the tank and leave everything open until spring commissioning. Then I do the opposite and flush all the antifreeze out of the fresh water tank/system before reconnecting the hot water tank into the pressure system.

I noticed a puddle around the base of the tank in the fall but it was clear water. Now that puddle is green.
