Is the FW pump in a belt loop with a high output alternator, Max?

() Mine is, and I would think that my FW pump has more strain put on it as the belts need replacing every other season and re-tensioning a few times a season as they wear and stretch. I expect a slow leak eventually but I carry no spare now.
The FW pump on my engine is definitely one spare I would carry if I planned to cruise long distance.
