Grasping for photo....bit of work today on Jaunty.

Formed, machined, and caulked on this .06 thick brass bow sprit plate. Ten bucks for the sheet brass about ten inches square, five bucks (can you believe it?) for ten proper sized 310 brass wood screws, ten cents worth of caulk and it's a done deal. My idea was for a bit of extra lateral support for those 70 know days at anchor. Over 3' long sprit actually had eight bolts and two #12 screws holding it in place so....might be over kill but hey, it fits well there.
