not much room for error
In Response To: Not quite like that ()

you must have to be very good friends with the people on both sides? Those fenders are not nearly big enough for a bad landing. My last docking was after we stepped the mast, in a 20mph cross wind and rain. It wasn't pretty with a finger pier and likely would have been extra ugly with your moorings.

Still waiting to get away from the dock for the first time this season. Worked most of the day Friday double checking projects, tracing a coolant leak, rigging sail controls and so forth. Sailing on Sunday was cancelled due to rain and t-storms that arrived 8 hours early. Still waiting to see if that autopilot control head from Paul D will do the trick. It powered up fine and kept us on a straight heading tied to the dock Friday..........If anyone would have told me 6 months ago that it would be mid-June before got our first sail in I would have NO WAYYYYY!!
