My friend has one of those. Last

year I helped him bring her back up from Cabo to San Diego. She handled the Baja Bash just fine which is saying something for the design. No broken bulkheads or chain plates, pretty dry inside and out and did it with reasonable speed. I liked the layout as well. She was a little short of fuel tankage for that kind of a trip but we carried extra on deck which allowed us to make the usual three fuel stops, Mag. Bay, Turtle Bay and Ensenada. He has a secondary fuel tank built in which drains into the main using a siphon which usually works fine but we were bouncing around pounding up the coast that the siphon was broken and we didn't realize it until we ran out of fuel. Of course it was in the middle of the night as we were approaching one of the points with an on shore component to what was left of the wind wrapping around the point. We were less the three hundreds yards off the shore when the engine quit. Chuck dived for the engine while I tacked the boat trying to get some sea room. The engine compartment doesn't lend itself to complete quick and easy access but he could get to the fuel filter and injectors well enough to quickly bleed and start the engine. I was impress how quickly he was able to get it done. Other then that the trip us was un eventful and comfortable. Comfortable is a moving target coming up the coast but she did well. Congratulations.
