Al, Thanks for the idea, but looking at the swivel's design, It probably needs to be right side up.

I'm waiting to hear from Furlex about a solution. It looks like I'll need to either: A. disconnect the top of the furler, remove the top cap and slide the swivel over the top rigging eye. If I can't get the top cap through the eye to remove it I'll have to: B.remove the stalok fitting from the bottom of the furler, remove the drum,then the swivel, and hope that I can get the staloc back on the wire.

I'll keep everyone posted on how it comes out.
