When I installed mine in 1992 I did cut a key slot into the arm - bullet proof. I take it you can't, or won't, take the the radial off to pull the arm?

Also, when I was installing mine several Alpha owners suggested drilling the dimple on the rudder shaft deep enough to put two set screws, one on top of the other. They claimed that really helped.
