Hager, Shirley Temple would approve, though I don't think she would be worried about a set-screw. She would hire a competent person to fix it, unlike yours truly. But your advice is well made and that is what I have done, kind of. I am going to take everything apart and start again, using you method. I suspect I will feel more confident. I know that there are other Alpha auto pilots that have done amazing things with just a set-screw. Many thanks
