Stopped there during a delivery of our previous boat to it's new owners in San Francisco. I was crew as I didn't want the responsibility of taking it to SF after selling it. The new owner was aboard and we told the delivery caption,,, we want to stop, take a shower, have dinner and continue. He didn't want to stop but think he was fearful of his life if he didn't do what we requested. It was a rough previous night rounding Pt. Conception and we wanted a break. We left at sunset for Monterey. Point Sur in 40 knots the next day, that was fun.
