Inverters, the next marine relic?

() It occurs to me my Canon batteries are the only thing not directly USB-12 volt charged.
We have two small inverters onboard that just a few years ago were used a lot with two kids onboard. Is there a direct 12V charger for camera batteries like the Canon 50D?
Things are getting simpler. I'm hoping for a refrigeration app, soon.
