I'm starting to look for an electric heater for the UK winter. I'll probably go with an oil-filled unit with thermostat which seems like the safest bet, especially since we'll be leaving the boat for long stretches during the winter. We looked at an 800 watt unit that seems like it would be adequate for our Nordic 40. The alternatives are in the 1500 or 2000 watt range. Does anyone have experience as to an appropriate size? Thanks
