The Garmin app on our tablet doesn't have it but the Navionics app on the iphone does. I found myself pulling that out of my pocket to see what course line the phone gps was projecting ahead. Same as you, to gauge tack to see if we would clear hazards or make cuts ahead.

This second season is where the tablet really started to rule our nav tools. The lack of cost is amazing compared to what some older gen plotters cost when you compare capabilities. The ipad2 'WAS' mine...
