Since 2001 when I first bought Nobeltec software, I've considered that projection line one of the most important GPS features. ActiveCaptain has it, my Garmin 470 GPS has it, my Lowrance CP, and my Navionics iOS app.

I had downloaded and played with an app that doesn't have it but deleted it soon after from my iPad and iPhone, just for that reason.

  - Aside from that use, the predictor line
    - We tack in 3 minutes...
    - You can get the nav station data to the helm
  - Can be hard to find on Garmin units, but used it for years.
