Larry, we have a chain of convenience stores in our area that also have gas pumps. They offer 100% 91 octane gasoline for just this purpose. I buy all my fuel there for the mowers, chainsaws, string trimmers, etc. Is it possible you may have the same in your area? It is a premium price so I don't know that I would use it in the truck, but there is always a line at that pump. I understand that it is very popular with local landscaping companies and motorcycle owners as well. As an aside, they also sell off-road diesel which we use on the boat. No road tax, higher sulfur content..........this is the stuff that has red dye in it.

Also, the local fuel docks all sell 100% 89 octane gas for marine use. Tough to get this time of year of course.
