We left the boat on a town mooring in SWH for a week last year

When we needed to return home for some family issues. The moorings are very handy to the Manset town floats and a short dinghy ride across the harbor to town floats closer to town. They are significantly less expensive than the moorings in NEH and they give you a price break for a week's stay. The Harbormaster is a very pleasant young gentleman. Moorings owned by Ellis Boat Builders are there as well and a bit closer in. The only down side is a fairly rolly harbor due to all the commercial boat traffic. We spent quite a bit of time there again last summer helping our son pack for a move to California. It's too bad that he moved on us. His house was an easy walk from the landing. This is the view looking east past the Hinckley docks.
